Abstract

Career guidance systems play a vital role in helping individuals identify suitable educational and employment opportunities. However, existing AI-based career recommendation systems largely focus on the general population and often fail to address the complex needs of individuals with multiple disabilities. This study proposes an Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) framework that integrates disability profiles, skills, interests, educational background, workplace accessibility requirements, and assistive technology needs to generate personalized career recommendations. The proposed system employs machine learning and large language models to provide transparent, accessible, and fair career guidance. Experimental evaluation demonstrates improved recommendation relevance, user satisfaction, and trust compared with conventional career recommendation approaches. The framework contributes to inclusive employment by supporting equitable career planning for people with multiple disabilities.
