Medi Scan: A Secure QR Code Based Medicine Information Retrieval System Using Python and Deep Learning for Enhanced Patient Safety

Medi Scan scans QR code and applies Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to get the relevant data of medicines packed on it. It cross-verifies the collected data with the cloud-based database to make sure the data is correct. Machine learning technology is implemented in this system to detect fake QR codes. Drug details, such as dosage, expiration period, manufacturers, and side effects of medicines are available through this system. Data encryption is ensured by AES-256 technology
